Background
Rain Trees Kindergarten in Singapore is a small, family-oriented, independent school. The teacher-student ratio is kept low, ranging from 1:6 to 1:12. This allows teachers to give each child ample individual attention, helping them grow at their own pace.
The school's curriculum is based on the UK's Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Classes are in English with 30 to 45 minutes of Mandarin a day. In addition, there are optional afternoon sessions held in English or Mandarin.
Rain Trees provides a creative environment that is both stimulating and challenging. Children learn best through doing, and the school provides ample opportunities to explore, experiment and discover with hands-on equipment and materials in an adult-supervised setting.
